The counselling activities of EFPC cover a wide area.
EFPC can give advice on the fire safety and the prevention of burglary of commercial-
and industrial buildings, industrial installations and infrastructural objects.
The counselling activities vary from support calculations (such as fire spread calculations and escape
calculations) and the complete work out of the system design till the supervision on the realization (of sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems and heat- and smoke ventilation systems). We also examine existing building and installations; do support activities in need of a building permit, building regulations and/or environmental legislation till the support during the design phase.

Representations
EFPC has contributed in the development of several provisions, regulations and legislations
EFPC is member of the regulation committee NPR 1073, Board of Fire Alarm Systems Experts
EFPC is represented in the ONRI, section telemetric, technical installations, acoustics, building physics and fire safety. In name of the ONRI, EFPC takes part in the developments of certification for fire safety systems and is representing the ONRI in the VROM taskforce equivalence.
EFPC is involved in the investigation to the Bar Fire in Volendam and the update of the fire safety concept "Fire control".
